Intragrastric Balloons

At Bariatric Specialists of North Carolina, we offer two different weight loss balloon systems as a middle ground between our medical weight management programs and weight loss surgery.

Both balloon systems are non-surgical procedures and both are non-permanent, remaining in the stomach for 6 months before removal. With both systems you will receive nutritional and psychological counseling to assist you in building new, healthy habits which you will maintain once the balloon or balloons are removed.

The intragrastric balloon systems are currently not covered by any insurances and are self pay options only.
